Esther Kennedy, Environmental Specialist, Southeast Alaska Tribal Ocean Research (SEATOR)
Esther Kennedy is the Environmental Specialist at the Southeast Alaska Tribal Ocean Research (SEATOR), housed at the environmental department at the Sitka Tribe, tasked with regular monitoring and research into the impact of harmful algal blooms and ocean acidification will have on local marine food resources.
SEATOR partners with AOOS on the Alaskan Ocean Acidification Network, the Alaska Harmful Algal Bloom Network, and AOOS hosts the Sitka Tribe of Alaska’s shellfish toxicity portal.
